Explore volunteering with the Lake Superior Squadron

Have you ever wanted to be part of preserving the stories, aircraft, vehicles, and history that helped shape our nation?

The Commemorative Air Force Lake Superior Squadron is looking for volunteers who share an interest in history, aviation, craftsmanship, education, and community service. Whether you have experience as a pilot, mechanic, woodworker, welder, historian, educator, event planner, or simply enjoy learning and working alongside others, we invite you to explore the opportunities available with our organization.

To further our mission, were holding an “Explore Volunteering with the Lake Superior Squadron” Open House on Saturday, September 19 at Noon. This informal event is an opportunity to meet our members, tour our projects, and learn how volunteers help us Educate, Honor, and Inspire through the restoration and preservation of historic aircraft and military vehicles.

There is no prior aviation experience required for much of the work we do. We welcome anyone interested in putting their experience, talents, and enthusiasm to work helping preserve history for future generations.
