The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Lake Superior Squadron will be holding its annual Rock the Ramp fundraiser event. A fun night of 60’s and 70’s good time Rock and Roll with all proceeds going to help support the Lake Superior Squadron.
The CAF – Lake Superior Squadron mission motto is to Educate, Inspire, and Honor. We work to achieve this by restoring, maintaining, and operating World War II era aircraft, bringing these experiences to life for new generations. Our major projects include restoring large 1945 PBY Catalina Flying Boats as well as smaller 1945 OY-2 Sentinal Medivac Plane. Both are intended to be restored to flying condition.
Sound, Inc will be performing at the hangar as part of their “Still Doing It” tour. Sound, Inc has been part of the northland music scene for many decades. In addition, Tom’s Taste of Chicago will be on site serving some excellent meals as well.
